District heating is well established in cities and larger communities in Stweden this gives that the main potential for further expansion lies within smaller communities with small scale district heating (1-5 MW). Economic constraints demands low cost in both construction and maintenance. Putting stric tenvironmental demands on these simple boilers, often firing a local non refined furl, will pose problems.
