In order to clarify the current seismic design margin of nuclear power piping, experimental and analytical investigation has been made on the elastic-plastic behavior of piping materials and components in Japanese Utilities Joint Study program. In this paper, Part-3, component tests results are discussed. Pipe component tests were perforemd to clarify fatigue life which occurs under various load conditions and failure modes when static cyclic and dynamic load were applied. THe test results showed that there wasn't so large difference between the static cyclic tests and the dynamic cyclic tests for the fatigue strength and the locations of crack penetration.
