In this paper the off-design performance analysis of a high by-pass non-mixed flow turbofan engine is evaluated. The effect of the deterioration of different engine components (fan, compressors, turbines, and thrust nozzles) on its performance and limiting parameters is examined. This is achieved by assuming an artificial deterioration in each component. The fan speed (N_1), core engine speed (N_2), and integrated engine pressure ratio (IEPR) are checked as thrust controller. Both N_1 and IEPR are convenient for this purpose. The reason is that thrust is nearly constant for certain N_1 or IEPR regardless of the amount and type of deterioration in any of the modules of turbofan engine.
