Calculation and measurement of the 3D flow in axial flow compressor rows, with and without control of flow separation devices

This article describes application of different methods of flow separation control for maintenance unseparated flow in turbomachinery blade passages and losses reduction in them. Two test examples of aerodynamic axial compressors turbomachinery rows perfecting also resulted. In the first example the high pressure compressor rotor with air extraction usage is considered. The adjustment of the blade shape on near hub cross-sections of rotor blades and meridian outlines shape was carried out. In the second example the fan stator is considered. Carried out meridian outlines and blade shape adjustment and also the bowed blade is used.
