Affordability and Sustainability of Environment Management Efforts in Indian Iron and Steel Industry-An Outlook for 21~ST Century

A century in literal term is a very large span of time even for a resilient industry as steel. However for a more realistic, foreseeable future say 20 tiio 30 years from now, one can continuously venture to predict the times ahead, based on past happenings and present trend. This paper is an attempt to review, analyse and gauge the significant aspects of affordability and sustainability of environment management efforts in Indian Iron and Steel industry, the foreseeable future.
