Technology Road Map 1999 of the European Steel Industry

In 1998/1999 Eurofer, the organisation in which the European steel industries co-operate, conducted a technology roadmap to determine research needs and in particular the needs for collaborative research for the next decades. From recognised and expected trends in markets and in society in general, business needs have been derived, which in turn allowed the identification of major research topics.
