摘要

Free vibrations fo non-homogeneous plates using finite element method (FEM) are considered. A rectangle with 12 degree of freedom (the Argyris element) has been taken as the finite element (FE). The global stiffness (MS) and mass (MM) matrices are built with a plate partition into 4, 9 and 16 finite elements. The obained results are compared with those exhibited by hybrid theoretic-experiment investigations.
