摘要

A simplified finite element method called Inverse Approach has been developed for sheet forming analysis with the consideration of drawbead restraining forces. This I.A. is combined with a mathematical programming algorithm in order to optimize these restraining forces and then design the drawbeads. The obtained optimization procedure is very efficient owing to the simplified assumptions of the I.A. and the analytical computation of sensitivities.
