Some issues in design of presses with levers

摘要

Based on analysis of lever working conditions in presses, this paper discusses some design issues to improve working performances of presses. It has been proved that to use lever with involute surface in lever-slider mechanism can eliminate the eccentric loads on the slider. The authors also set up an optimum design method for shears with levers. It can reduce mechanism sizes and improve working efficiency. All the conclusions have been proved in production practice and got satisfied results.
