摘要

Coal has been used as an important source of fuel by humankind for thousands of years. However, increasing use of coal presents many challenges of the pollution control problems. Since so many kinds of pollutants are released when the coal is burning, extremely efforts have been focused on the more efficient and cleaner use of coal. It is important and necessary to understand well the chemical structure and the chemical reaction properties of coals at the molecular level. The solid state NMR is a powerful method to characterize the structural parameters of coal.
