摘要

A new adaptive morphological filter is proposed in this paper. The filter utilizes the multiple structuring elements and morphological open=closing or clos-opening operations. The outputs of the morphological operations by each structuring element are linear weihted prcessed by the adapive method under the least mean absolute (LMA) criterion. The new filter is appliled to filte a noisy image and compared with the traditional morphological filters. The simulation results have shown that the new filter possesses effective nise suppression witout burring the geomerical features of the image.
