The Virtual Reality Ride Questionnaire (VRRQ): A Virtual Reality Entertainment Evaluation Tool

Virtual Reality (VR) has long held the promise of providing a uniquely involving entertainment experience.However, few studies exist assessing the ability of hardware and software to deliver such experiences. TheVirtual Environment Research Group (VERG) collected data from four different VR ride configurations atan Orlando, Florida VR amusement center. The four rides differed in terms of equipment configurations,themes, tasks, and immediate surrounding environments. The Virtual Reality Ride Questionnaire (VRRQ)was developed to help assess an individual's subjective experience of VR amusement rides.
