Assessing contamination sensitivity in optical coatings

摘要

This paper investigates a simple theory of contamination sensitvity to permit comparison between coatings. The use of the admittance diagram as a tool for understanding the variations in sensitivity from one wavelength to another and from one coating to another is examined. Some different classes of coatings are studied.
