摘要

In the paper, we present a process for reconstruction of the surface of 3D dental prosthesis from discrete contour data. In the processing, a distance-weighed interpolation is conducted first to the dental prosthesis data. Then an operation of contour connection, based on the shortest diagonal method is carried out. Finally, surface shading is performed for rendering the surfaces. Experimental result shows that the algorithms employed are viable in reconstructing the dental surfaces.
