摘要

Recently, various high temperature structural materials has been researched and developed in the field of aeronautics, aerospace and power generator technologies. In this paper, current R&D status are first outlined along with discussion of technical issues to be solved for identifying and developing new primary structural applications. Some research topics are also presented in fracture mechanics characterization of high performance materials for severe environments. Finally, feasibility study is briefly introduced on applying in-situ single crystal ceramics eutectic composites to advanced high temperature turbine system.
