Status and outlook for development of portable mine methanometers

摘要

Use of portable methanometers incorporating thermocatalytic and optical principles is widespread at mines in Russia and the CIS countries. Evolution of these principles in the recent years has allowed to develop new technologies of thermocatalytic sensors and to create on their basis a new generation of portable methanometers that feature improved performance, low power consumption, smal size and low mass.
