Development of a Graphical PC-Based Full-Scope Risk Management Workstation

Quantus, a Windows 95/NT~circleR based risk management program, has been developed to allow risk engineers to efficiently create, edit and present Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA). The program uses a centralized data repository that provides consistent data, including full uncertainty data, to the editor tools used to create and solve the QRA. The editor tools include: a data editor with the ability to link to the solutions of CAFTA fault trees, an event tree editor and quantifier, a source term quantifier, a consequence estimator, and a easy to use graphical risk presentation interface. Quantus also stores multiple versions of risk models which allows for easy risk comparisons of "What-if" type of risk analysis.
