Activated cementitious - pozzolana binding systems, free of portland cement, have in present days, a strong economical, energy - saving and ecological concern. The knowledge of interaction mechanisms with water and hardening properties of these systems is of fundamental interest. These problems have represented a target of international scientific community focusing larger or more circumscribed areas (1-5). This field has been also approached more and more extensively by the Research Goup of Inorganic binding systems from department Science and Engineering of Oxide Materials from University "Politechnica" of bucharest (Romania) since 70's (6-12).
