QUANTITATIVE PHASE ANALYSIS OF CEMENTS, LIME, GYPSUM, BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS BY USING A NEW SOFTWARE FOR QUANTIFICATION

摘要

Quantitative phase contents of different types of cements as Ordinary Portland cements (OPC), High Alumina cements (HAC) and gypsum products were determined using a quantitative X-ray Rietveld program. For proving the precision of the calculation always comparison to synthetic mixtures were made. For building and construction industry also mixtures of different cements with fillers and admixtures can be quantified.The application of this new type of quantification software is mainly based on a system which includes all crystallographic and instrumental parameters (control file) and a quantitative calculation procedure using a special software program. The control file can be optimized for special applications needed by customers.For several applications it will be shown that Rietveld refinements can be a very useful tool for rapid quantification results in quality control.
