PVD-coatings for dry cutting of Al-alloy and bronze

摘要

Dry cutting applications are more and more important not only for steel materials, but also for Al-alloys and Bronze. The dry cutting of the cutting with Minimal Quantities of Lubricant (MQL) will not only reduce the workpiece related manufacturing cost but eliminates also all the problems re-lated to cooling lubricants.
