THis article refers to studies developed on molybddenum recovery from the spent acid generated in lamps manufacturing. A new process for dissolution of molybdenum mandrel with a catalyze mixture-hydrogen peroxide, is emphasized and it may widely satisfy current environmental expectations. TGhe research work provides with the operation conditions required along this process in molybdenum dissolution. For such purpose, a 100 watts filament production was taken as a basis.
