Investigation on three-dimensional surface topography of automobile steel sheet

The surface topogrphay of cold-rolled steel sheet affects its press-forming behaivor and also influences the appearance of the end product after paintingl.Three-dimensional surface topogrphy of several steel sheets processed by different technologies is measured.Using statistical and signal processing techniques two-dimensional power spectral density function,two-dimensional autocorrelation function and some three-dimensional characteristic parameters of the surface topography of each steel sheet cna be otained separately.Analyzing htese parameters and charts of the functons we make an investigation on three-dimensional surface topography of these steel sheets.
