IPSCO Steel, Inc. World's First In-Line Plate Production Facility

IPSCO, Inc. (IPSCO), the parent company of ISPCO Steel, Inc. was established in 1965 as a pipe manufaturer in Regina, Saskatchewan. IPSCO produced its first flat rolled product in 1960 utilizing telectric furnaces and Steckel mill technology. Presently, the Canadian plant is a 1.0 million ton steel-making facility.
