Algorithms are described which, with limited user input, can create topologies and establish boundary point distributions for block-structured grids. These algorithms are demonstrated for two complete aircraft. In the first example, a block-structured grid is used in isolation to model EF2000, in the second it is a subset of a hybrid grid formed around a Tornado with fuel tanks.
