Thermoeconomic analysis of combined cycle units with intercooled gas turbine, derived from existing steam power plants

The paper presents a thermoeconomic analysis of three pressure level reheat combined cycles derived from existing steam power plants. The gas turbine employed is an intercooled gas turbine, proposed and investigated in the Collaborative Advanced Gas Turbine program by the major aero-engine manufacturers and international electric and natural gas industry sponsors.
