Simulation of a fuel cell in cogeneration

As part of the R&D "Fuel cell" project,the Research and Development Division of gaz de France conducted a computer simulation to assess the economic performanc eof a phosphoric acid fuel cell in an operational situation.the study tried to find an answer to a technical/economic problem: what are the optimum conditions for using such a fuel cell in cogeneration? What is the fuel cell's position in relation to other competitive solutions ? The study was divided into two phases: dynmaic modeling of a fuel cell and a typical building,with its equipment for energy generaton and supply; evaluation of its operating cost through simulation.
