Abstract: Integral transmission functions in near infrared region of spectrum were extracted from the benchmark calculations of the solar radiation fluxes for the mid-latitude summer atmosphere. Their comparison with the values obtained from empirical formulas shows a good agreement. Hence, the transmission functions resulting from both ways can be used in climate modeling.!6
