The Abdmap Project: Algal Bloom Detection; Monitoring and Prediction

ABDMAP is a Concerted Action to advance the role of Earth Observation data to detect, monitor, and predict algal and cyanobacterial blooms in European waters, using remotely sensed data as oe of amny data sources. It is funded by the European Commission's Framework Programme IV under its Centre for Earth Observation (CEO). ABDMAP is being implemented through a series of thematic and regional workshops throughout Europe, bringing together academics, researchers and end-users, in addition to other supporting measures.
