The assessment of hazards of liquid hydrogen storage sites requires the identification of the most likely spill scenarios, the characterization of the spill dynamics, the evaporation process and the dispersion, as well as the determination of the potential ignition sources. The consequence of accidental ignition must then be calculated and correlated to established safety critieria. In this paper we present a software tool to simulate the spill, evaporation and dispersion of hydrogen and analyze the potential consequences of ignition.
