The use of a liquid hydrogen bus in a public ransport system

摘要

Within the framework of the Euro-Quebec Hydro-Hydrogen Pilot Project (EQHHPP)-initiated by the European COmmission (EC) and the government of Quebec (QG)-the european and the Canadian industry carried out a feasibility study from 1989 to 1992 in order to analyse the concept of the generation of hydrogen in a 100 MW hydroelectric power station in Quebec, its liquefaction, transatlantic transport, distribution and use in Europe. It is the aim of this project to test a new energy carrier that is free of CO_2 and for a large part of other emissions and to make it available in several stages.
