The main of this work is establish the classification of solar reactr that could be used in solar thermochemical step of the thermochemical or thermoelectrochemical water split cycles and to describe the application of one of this reactors to the endothermic step of a thermoelectrochemical cycle for hydrogen production. The void of information on high temperature chemical solar reactors motivated to work in this field and to classify the wide solar reactor used to now in the world. Basic parameters was taken into count as physical form to get the solar concentrated radiation, phase of materials to be treated and the state of agitation of materials. Is described the application of a fluidized bed solar reactor in the endothermic step of a thermoelectrochemical cycle for hydrogen production using the zinc sulphate cycle (Zine Huam cycle). It was shown that the decomposition step in the reactor is high feasible and demonstrated the opportunity of this kind of reactions in the cycles for hydrogen production.
