Regulation of extracellular ligninolytic and cellulolytic enzyme production in the white rot ungus trametes versicolor

cDNAs encoding laccase and a novel manganese peroxidase from Trametes veriscolor have been overexpressed in the beterologous host Aspergillus awamori. T. verscolor cellobiose dehydrogenase and cellobiohydrolase DNA fragments have also been cloned enabling the study of celluloytic transcriptional regulation under different physiological conditions.
