Conductivity of composite electrolytes in the PEO:LiBF_4-TiO_2 system has been investigated. The conductivity strongly depends upon the annealing conditions. Approximately four orders of magnitude increase in conductivity resulting from annealing is accomplished around ambient temperature. Analyses of the data suggest that a new conduction mechanism through interfacial regions evolves due to the annealing.
