Ptc 22: the 1997 revision ad future plans

The first revision of PTC 22 since 1985 presents updated test methodology and calculation methods for the uncertaintyanalysis for a Code test. Each required measurement has been assigned an uncertainty limit consistent with the best available field instrumentation; these limits can then be combined to determine the overal test uncertainty for each particular application. Additional features of the new Code include expanded calculations for heat input for both liquid and gas fuels, correction of an error in pressure measurement, and requirements for machines with water or steam injection.
