Nonvacuum electron beam welding: convenient and highly productive

Having been sucessfully used in the US automotive industry for more than 35 years now Nonvacuum Electron Beam Welding is finally becoming increasingly popular in Europe too. This is because of the fine weld performance achieved even with non-precise edge preparation, as well as short cycle times attainable due to both very high welding speeds produced and the ability to avoid having to provide a chamber evacuation. Some application examples which demonstrate the feasiblities and conditions of NVEBW in large scale production uses are given.
