Integrated water quality monitors

摘要

Improved consumer awareness of drinkign water is one of the cornerstones of the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1996.It will soon be a reqrueiemtn of all public utilities to develop ocnsumer confidence reports annually.these reports will summarize the characteristics of their water systems,the locations of source water,the quality of raw and treated water,the contaminants present in the water,and hte risks to community health posed by the contaminants.enhanced water quality monitoring,and associated informaiton gatheriing,informaiton storage and informaiton reporting will become mandatory.Now directions in sensing instrumentation and information processifng are rising to meet the challenge.
