The Third Global Model for Data Protection for the Asia Pacific. Principles for Cooperation Leading to the Reduction of the Gap between Developed and Developing Countries

A data protection model specific to the Asia Pacific region will vastly reduce the gap between developing and developed countries. Respect for diverse cultures and the vastly different goals can merge through the initiation of collaborative alliances of research and development and promote infrastructure development by seeking data protection through the technologies. The present European and US models do not support the cultural environment of the Asian Pacific nor encourage collaborative platforms that build trust in the adoption of technology for infrastructure development. Data protection must come from within the technical research so that modification can represent the cultural needs as each country defines their business rules for trans border data sharing.
