In this paper, improved reservation code multiple access(IRCMA) is presented on the pervious protocol RCMA for spreading-spectrum system. An additional call admission channel for voice terminals is added. The waiting voice terminal enter a queue in the base station. Theoritical performance measures of voice packet-dropping probability and the average data packet delay are derived by means of equilibrium point analysis and examined by extensive computer simulation.
