Analysis and Design of Web-based Internet Network Management

Today's Internet/ Intranet network becomes more complex and heterogeneous as well, Therefore, there has been a growing demand for the developing of tools to manage it. In this paper, we propose a design model for web based network management. It leads us to adopt a temporal data model asthe underlying information model. Moreover, the functionality provided by this model, as well as the architecture supporting them, is presente.d in addition to that we have implemented a prototype incorporating the proposed network management model.
