The WinFrame software product from Citrix runs on top of Windows-NT. Interactive users see Windows, but only the screen painter runs locally. The NT internals run on a remote shared server. Citrix advises that a multiprocessor server running WinFrame and NT can support 15 users per CPU. The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) is deploying an application using winFrame and stress tested the application to see the actual performance. This paper reports the results.
