Integrated CAD/CAM systme for planar CAM mechanisms using cubic spline

摘要

In the present paper an integrated CAD/CAM systme for cam mechanisms is introduced.The developed CAD procedure enables the optimum selection of the transfer funcitons and hte geometry optimizaiton fo cma mechanisms using kinematicla and funcitonal reuriements.Furthermore considering the interpolation facilities of the available NC milling machine,a procedure to geenrate the cam NC code ,enabling the achievement of the desired cam accuracy and of the permitted transfer funcitons deviations,is introduced.
