Non-reflected multi directional wave maker theory and experiments of verification

摘要

In the hydraulic model test in a wave basin,relfected waves from models of structures and walls of hte basin relfect gagain at the wave maker.The re-refleted waves disturb wave field in the basin and consequently reduce the accuracy of experiments.We developed a non-reflected multi-directional wave maker thory.By taking into account both current and past water elevatin data in front of the wave paddles,the theory makes the wave makers possible to absorb relflected multi directional waves.Numerical simulations and experiments show that this theory is superior to hte conventional theo4ry in its efficiency of the eabsorption.
