AINK-90NG New Instrumentation-Software Complex for Pulsed Neutron Logging and Its Possible Applications in Petroleum Geophysics

The Scientific Engineering Department AO "Tatneftegeofizika" has developed and tested the instrumentation-software complex for pulsed neutron-neutron logging (AINK-90NG) based on an essentially new generator monoblock ING-06 manufactured by specialists of the VNIIAvtomatika Institute. Preprocessing of signals is conducted in the downhole tool. Next, digitized data are transmitted to the surface and processed with a PC. High stability of the neutron yield and two-exponential data interpretation model allows one to assess parameter sum_a with an accuracy of 5percent.
