The present status of Pu utilization to thermal reactors in Japan, nuclear characteristics and topics and cross section sensitivities for anlaysis of Pu fueled thermal reactors are described. As topics we will discuss the spatial self-shielding effect on the Doppler reactivity effect and the cross section sensitivities with the JENDL-3.1 and 3.2 libraries.
