Fully developed incompressible turbulent flow in a conical diffuser having a total divergence angle of 8 deg and an area ratio of 4:1 has been simulated by a DLR k-epsilon model BFC method. The research has been done for pipe entry Reynolds number of 2.93x10~5 and 1.16x10~5. and has given the computed results such as mean flow velocity and turbulence energy. Calculated results of the basic computation examples agreed well with the experiments. Also the research has contrasted the computed results of the computation examples that 6 different mesh arrangement and inflow conditions are combined along with DLR k-epsilon model centre dot BFC method. Furthermore, the research has compared and analysed with experiments, and has provided part and parcel of the diagnostic system for numerical prediction of turbulent flow in a conical diffuser.
