New Daylighting Systems

摘要

Since 5 years the Institute for Light andBuilding Technology is developing light directing building components, using holographic optical elements and light guiding proiles. Being assembled in single or double galss units, these ocmponents allow a great variety of applications in architecture for improved daylighting, glare control, solar shading, concentrating photovoltaic modules as well as light and colour effects. For the first time these systems could be aplied and tested in demonstration builidngs in Germany and Egypt.
