Overall, this paper is clear and concise. It presents a very practical and straightforward application of water treatment chemistry to a severe scaling problem. Perhaps the best way to respond to this paper is to relay our experiences at Gainesville and share some of the things we have learned about the operation of a brine concentrator and zero discharge system.
