1998 IISRP Technical Award Acceptance Speech

After the IISRP Mid-Year Meeting in Orlando, Florida in October last year, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the European Section had proposed that I should be the recipient of the Technical Award to be presented to me in the beautifiul city of Rio de Janeiro. I am very grateful to those who nominated me and to the executive committee both for accepting the nomination and for inviting my wife Helga nad me to participate in this meeting.
