The canal reflector - concentrator is analyzed. The stationary concentrator includes: reflector canal in shape approximated with flat mirrors and cylindrical receiver as solar steam heat water generator or desalinator. According to recent market studies, there is an important potential market in the Crimea of industrial process heat in the range of 90 deg C to 130 deg C. An agreement between KIPKS and the KrimENERGO has made possible to construct the first prototype, which basic characteristics are: aperture area 6 m~2, concentration ratio 12.
