Intrinsic doped fibre decay-time based optical thermometry at elevated temperatures

Results are presented on the use of novel doped fibre intrinsic sensors for thermometry, using the decay time approach. Compact sensor probes have been developed and effective measurement over a wide range of temperatures has been reported.
